大阪に生まれる。 大阪シナリオ学校にて脚本、演出を学ぶ。
また幼少より上方舞を、大学時代より観世流仕舞を学ぶ。1985年より児雷也に入社し、演劇、ミュージカル、舞踊、コンサート、レヴューなどの脚本・演出を担当。 |

伝統を生粋の大阪人としてユーモアとウイットに富んだ感性でアレンジできる稀少の人と評価を受ける。
立ち上げから関わった2つのカンパニーの海外からの評価も高く、和太鼓グループ「打打打団天鼓」は昨年6度目のヨーロッパツアーを大成功におさめ、「極楽歌劇団(現 劇団 Gock-Luck)」では結成4年にして2回の海外招聘公演が実現した。 |

近年は松竹座、新歌舞伎座、明治座、シアターBRAVA等の劇場での作・演出を精力的につとめる。他にも多数の現在進行中の脚本・演出作品を抱え、関西発の新しい才能として今注目を集めている。 |

After graduating from KOZU High School in Osaka, and then the Asian Studies Department at Otemon Gakuin University, she studied playwriting and directing at the Osaka Scenario School. She has studied Japanese dance since early childhood, and from University onwards, has studied the Kanze school of Noh dancing.
As a playwright and director, she has achieved a fusion of traditional Japanese performing arts, such as Noh and Kabuki, with modern Japanese arts. The beauty of her words and the energy she injects into her plays, dance productions,musicals and reviews, combine the old and new, and have breathed new life into Japanese Performing arts.She has produced a large number of traditional Japanese music productions. In particular she has injected laughter and elements of theater into Japanese Taiko Drum concerts, something which has not been possible up until now. This has resulted in unique performances that are full of entertainment. |
